Should I overtighten the set screws?
DO NOT overtighten the set screws. Tighten them carefully by hand with the allen wrench. The screws must touch the diode, but not damage it.
How do I install the laser correctly to avoid damage?
Press the laser housing straight into the muzzle until it stops, then turn to tighten. The O-ring must be completely inside the muzzle.
